Meet Nate

I was raised in a believing home just outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and grew up around baseball diamonds and soccer fields. I am the youngest of three kids, and came to faith in Christ in middle school at youth group. I played soccer throughout high school and continued to play at Eastern University. I spent too many of those years calling myself Christian but rarely living like one, gratifying the desires of my flesh. After college, I was invited into a small bible study back at my home church. It was that community of believers who showed me what it looked like to pursue Christ. We studied the word together, served together, and lived out the one anothers of scripture in a way that allowed my relationship with Christ to flow out of joyful obedience rather than stubborn obligation.

The Lord then allowed our group to start and lead a young adult ministry and a Porch Live location. I had never loved serving and leading more. In 2020, I came down to Dallas to participate in the Watermark Institute, and became a full-time staff member a year later. I loved watching and then being a member of a church that was “crazy” enough to believe God is who He says He is. It is truly humbling to have the opportunity and privilege to be on mission here. Things I’m passionate about? Food, Fly-Fishing, and Fútbol.
