Meet Connor

I grew up in Southlake, Texas, as one of three triplets in a Christian home. My brother became an engineer, my sister an artist, and me? I’ve always been the social butterfly. My parents prioritized church and made sure we spent every summer at Kanakuk Kamps—experiences that planted deep roots of faith in each of us.
High school, however, was a different story. I chased people-pleasing and comfort and my love for Jesus got buried under the weight of wanting to be liked and chasing whatever felt good in the moment. I ran hard from the God I’d grown up knowing.
But the God I tried to outrun never stopped pursuing me. At a nine-month discipleship program called Link Year in Branson, Missouri, everything changed. For the first time I saw that everything I’d ever wanted—worth, belonging, forgiveness, and a new identity—was mine in the Gospel through Jesus. He didn’t just save me; He made me a son.
After Link Year, I headed to Dallas Baptist University and jumped into Watermark’s college ministry, where I was discipled and formed some of the deepest, most life-giving friendships I’ve ever known.
As I stepped into young adulthood, I couldn’t shake the growing conviction that I was made for vocational ministry. When the door opened to serve as a youth pastor at Harris Creek in Waco for over 3 years, I said yes without hesitation. I discovered that nothing fulfills me more than walking alongside people and pointing them to the One who can truly satisfy their souls.
Now I’m humbled and thrilled to be back at Watermark—the church that loved me when I was running hard and hard to love—ready to disciple single men and share the good news of great joy.
