Meet Lindsey

I have had the privilege of serving here at Watermark since moving back home from college and it is now a huge blessing to be serving on staff as the Single Adults Coordinator. I was born and raised right here in Dallas and came to know the Lord as my Savior at an early age. However, as a person who struggles with performance and seeking to earn Christ’s approval through being perfect, it was not until after college and through community here at Watermark that I finally began to understand the depth of God’s grace and that it is only by his death and resurrection that I am saved and can have a relationship with Him (Ephesians 2:8-10). This is why I am thrilled to be on staff now – I get to help others understand this truth every day.

Before joining the team here at Watermark I went to Auburn University. WAR EAGLE! (And no, that is not our mascot. It is our battle cry and a greeting for hello, good-bye and pretty much anything else you want it to mean.) After graduating, I moved back to Dallas and spent ten years working in various Human Resources roles in two completely different industries – hardware/software development and dairy. A fun fact about my time in the dairy industry is that I had to take a Milk 101 class and I love to answer questions about milk production.

Things that make me happy: Christmas – I have been known to crank down the AC in my car in the middle of summer and turn on Christmas music to help me get through the endless heat; rain – I love dreary days; traveling – mountains over beach; Microsoft Excel – I love to organize my life in spreadsheets; and Auburn football - the Southeastern Conference.
