I’m Bobby Rodriguez, and I have the joy of serving as the Director of Single Adults and Community at Watermark. I was born and raised in Houston, Texas — though I like to joke that I’d only move back if God made it unmistakably clear with lightning bolts and the audible voice of God. These days, Dallas is home — and I’m grateful for it.
I came to know Jesus at age 33 after walking through the heartbreak of a failed relationship. In that season, God showed me how my co-dependence was keeping me from truly depending on Him. Since then, He’s been faithful to reshape my life with peace, purpose, and joy — the kind that only comes from knowing Christ.
Today, I get to lead Gather, our ministry for single adults in their 30s, 40s, and 50s, and I help shepherd the community groups within it. I care deeply about biblical discipleship — helping people grow in their love for God and each other through truth, accountability, and grace. Whether it’s teaching, training, or walking through life with folks, I love seeing God use His Word to transform lives.
I’m married to Stacie, and we have two awesome kids: Lily and Miller. I’m thankful every day for God’s grace, for my family, and for the chance to serve this church.
