Meet Lydia

Howdy! I’m new to Dallas, having just wrapped up my time as a Miami Hurricane. Before that, I called the booming metropolis of Fayetteville, AL home—where I’m pretty sure cows outnumber people. Now, I’m trading Cuban coffee and hurricane season for Tex-Mex and boots!

I was raised in a Christian home, and while I am immensely grateful for the foundation for faith being present throughout my entire upbringing, my faith did not become my own and I did not enter into a true relationship with Jesus until my freshman year of college. At a time when my heart had grown hard and I was internally preparing to denounce the beliefs I was raised with, I was invited to a conference where the love and graciousness of Jesus was shared and became real and personal. He completely transformed my heart, mind, and priorities through the words I heard those days. My life has not been the same since; He has become my best friend. I am so excited that He led me to Watermark to be surrounded by and serve alongside this faithful team!

I’m Sonic’s dirty Dr. Pepper’s biggest fan and can often be found scouting out aesthetic coffee shops. Can’t wait to see what the Lord has in store for this chapter!
