Meet Brooke

I was born and raised in the suburbs of Milwaukee, WI (Go Pack Go!). I am the oldest of two, and the Lord has given me an adventurous spirit from the beginning. Growing up I was a competitive gymnast, and through this sport, God taught me tenacity, independence, and drive. This propelled me into moving 4.5 hours away to attend the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities (Go Gophs!), and shortly after, spending a year of my undergraduate career attending the University of Hawaii at Hilo (3,000+ miles away/10-hour plane ride). I graduated in May 2020, and moved in the middle of the pandemic, back to Hawaii. This is where I met my husband, Seth (who is 6’ 6”, while I’m a whopping 5’ 1”), and where we got married and spent the first 6 months of our marriage before moving to Dallas for Seth to attend Dallas Theological Seminary.

My walk with the Lord has been a gradual process. I was born and raised in a Lutheran and then non-denominational church setting. I chose to give my life to Jesus in my teen years, but I lacked discipleship and quickly fell into believing I could party on Saturday and attend church on Sunday. It wasn’t until my college years that I joined an on-campus ministry and served in ministry for the first time. This is when the Lord graciously showed me that it’s all about having a relationship with Him and walking with Him daily. During my senior year of college, I felt the call to full-time ministry. Though all my “professional” and educational experience is in marketing, I didn’t know a specific position existed for me to use these skills for His glory until stepping on at Watermark. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to serve Him daily for the local and global church and use the gifts He has given me for His glory.
