Meet Tristan

A year after graduating from UNT, I tagged along with some friends to The Porch. I had never heard the gospel so clearly, and from that point on, the good news of Christ changed my heart. Although on the outside I was filling my time with a fun Dallas life, an overpacked schedule and academic achievements, inside I had been fighting a long battle of people-pleasing, codependency, and crippling anxiety on my own. I knew I needed a savior. I noticed the people at Watermark were different and were experiencing true life change by fully surrendering to Christ. I wanted that, too! I experienced the fruits and joys of living in an authentic, Christ-centered community, and now, years later, I can’t imagine life any other way.

After working over five years in the online apparel industry, my career was one area I still fought to control on my own. I knew the Lord wanted me to surrender this part of my life, too. During my search for a new job, I was given the opportunity to join the Communications Team at Watermark and use my gifts to share the good news of Christ with others. I am so grateful the Lord pushed for this career change, and I am so excited to be a small part of His big plans in Dallas.

Outside of work, you can find me getting competitive during family game nights, hosting weekly dinners with friends, attempting to build the perfect playlist, sipping iced coffee, exploring new cities, or singing along at almost any concert.
