I was born and raised here in Dallas my whole life and only left for a brief period to attend Texas A&M University. I came to know the Lord at the young age of 6 at the breakfast table one morning with my mom and brother as I decided I wanted to accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I had a childlike faith at that point and believed the gospel but did not walk daily or have an intimate relationship with the Lord until my junior year of high school after I lost a close friend. After my friend passed away, I found myself clinging to the Lord and decided to be all in on my faith because I found that the Lord is the only one who can satisfy my broken and fearful heart (Psalm 145:9-21)
I studied Recreation, Park and Tourism Sciences at A&M with a focus on youth development and event management as well as a minor in coaching. I had the opportunity to work at Pine Cove during my summers in college where the Lord helped me overcome so many fears and gave me a passion for ministry. This led me to apply and be a part of the Watermark Institute in 2022 after college, where I fell in love with the Lord in a new way as I learned the narrative of Scripture as a whole and so much more of God’s character and love for His people. After attending Watermark for the majority of my life, it is only by God’s kindness and faithfulness that I now have the privilege of being on staff.
I am married to my high school sweetheart and when I am not working you can find me spending time with him, cooking, shopping, or exploring a cool new restaurant in Dallas.
