Meet David

I grew up in Dallas, TX and spent most of my summers in Shenandoah, Iowa where there are more corn fields than people. I knew who Jesus was but found my identity in the approval of others and my accomplishments. If you would have told me I would grow up to work for a church I would have told you, you're crazy! But God wrecked my world in the best way possible and used my background in Construction Management and my newfound identity in Christ to divinely appoint me to serve on The Facilities team, where I average 15,000 steps a day walking the campus from project to project.

I am married to my beautiful wife Lauren and we have two incredible daughters and three french bulldogs, notice I didn’t use an adjective to describe the dogs. We have been attending Watermark since 2008 and I have a passion for serving in re:gen and mentoring other men who face a similar path I once was on. I would like to tell you that we spend our weekends relaxing but that would be a lie, and we are all about transparency here. So truth is, you can find us inundated with a never-ending house remodel, chauffeuring children around town, searching out the best BBQ in Texas and counting down the days until our annual beach vacation.
