From the time I came to follow Christ, discipleship has been something I’ve been passionate about, mostly because it has had such a giant impact in my own life. When I was in high school, God used a young married couple to introduce me to the grace offered through Christ and disciple me in what that meant for my life.
Now, I get to be a part of that same process for our junior high students! A big part of my job is to equip our leaders to disciple our students as they plug into small groups. I relish the opportunity to join them in this mission and see the ways God works through life-on-life ministry!
I have felt a strong pull towards ministry while serving at T Bar M Camps, where I ended up serving as a director for several years before moving to Dallas. It was there God cemented my love for building long-term relationships with people and developing fun and creative programs.
I grew up in New Braunfels, TX, where my high school mascot was the mighty Unicorn (yes, seriously), and I had the privilege of getting my degree from Texas A&M (and it is a privilege!). In my free time, you can usually find me hanging out with people, watching movies, or playing/watching sports. However, as a life-long San Antonio Spurs fan, I’m often at odds with the majority of the staff come basketball season!
Finally, I love to laugh, which is one of the many reasons working with the Student Ministry team is so great!
