I grew up surrounded by a family of believers, church, camp, and even a private Christian school right around the corner in Flower Mound, TX. I became a Christian at a young age, but it wasn’t until my junior year of high school that I truly grasped the goodness of the Gospel and how sovereign our God is. After recognizing that for myself, I got baptized at family camp in 2016.
I attended Baylor University and studied Nutrition Sciences. During my college years, I spent four summers working at Pine Cove and was involved in Vertical Ministries and Harris Creek Baptist Church during the school year. It was during my time at Pine Cove that I was completely humbled and realized that I had been living my life for myself, and not for the Lord. I was convicted by Romans 14:7-8 “For none of us lives to himself, and none of us dies to himself. For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord.” I didn’t want to choose myself anymore, but wholeheartedly choose the Lord each and every day. From then on, I became passionate about being devoted to God’s Word, God’s people, and serving behind the scenes! I am thankful the Lord has given me opportunities to continue growing and serving here at Watermark!
