Born and raised behind the pine curtain of East Texas, I eventually left my hometown of Longview en route to Texas A&M (whoop!) where God changed my life. It was there that I learned Jesus is actually God, the Gospel is bigger than I thought, and dying is the first step truly to living. After graduating, I spent several years bi-vocationally torn between seminary and the corporate world, having caught a vision for working in full-time ministry but unsure of when or where that would be. While figuring that out, I married my wife and best friend, Brooke, where we started a life together that I wouldn’t trade for anything.
I eventually left the business world to work for Breakaway Ministries—the perfect call to ministry given how formative it was for my faith and future as an minister. From there, I moved to Houston, TX where I became the Director of Young Singles Ministry at Houston’s First Baptist Church, only then to migrate to North Texas in joining the team at Watermark.
When God called us to move to Dallas, it was the last thing we expected, but the best thing for our family. In 2024, we welcomed our first son, Kash, to the world, who keeps us laughing, on our toes, and in constant need of caffeine. We are beyond grateful to be here and would love to meet you if ever you see us.
We feel called to this church, the Porch as a ministry, and the young adults of this city most of all. It’s an honor to be a part of the Watermark family and we’re expectant for the days ahead!
