While I gave my life to Christ when I was 7, I was called to ministry when I was a sophomore in college (Texas A&M WHOOP!), I just didn’t know I would end up on staff at a church. Having worked at T Bar M Camps all throughout college, I assumed I’d do camp ministry for the rest of my life. Little did I know the Lord would call me to college ministry at Central Baptist Church in College Station, Texas for two years post grad. As Proverbs 16:9 says, “We can make our plans, but the LORD determines our steps.”
After my time in College Station, I moved to Dallas summer 2019 to begin the Watermark Institute and jumped on full-time staff January 2020. I love getting to participate with God in people coming to know and grow in Jesus Christ, and there have been plenty of opportunities to do that here at Watermark. I’m very passionate about my generation knowing the story of Scripture and how to study it, which has led to many opportunities to do ministry all over the place in tandem with what I do here at Watermark—social media being one of my favorites.
In addition to working for The Porch, you’ll also find me all over campus—jumping in with Women’s Bible Study, Join The Journey, Real Truth Real Quick, College Ministry retreats and more. I’m the oldest of four kids and my family lives all over Texas, so getting to dive headfirst into the Watermark family has been one of the biggest blessings in my life since moving to Dallas.
